Howdy howdy howdy! Aly's got a special ability, and one quite mundane one that nonetheless may pose an obnoxious issue.

Lines: Aly can, if she concentrates, see connections between people (and sometimes places) that are linked by destiny. This would mean people with particularly strong cross-canon CR or people who are closely tied together within a canon, for RP purposes. I'll only use this ability if granted explicit permission to, because she doesn't use it all the time.
- Additionally, she also has lines! Anyone who would be able to see such things (auras etc.) would see golden threads spreading out from her back, between her shoulder blades, and fading out into the distance. There is also a red-and-gold one stretching out from her right wrist - like a safety tether - that fades as well. Since they’re intangible except by actively using magic on them, they won’t affect anyone else; this is just for her benefit. (You can use magic to twang on hers. It'll be funny. She'll get mad.)
Fourth-Walling: Since Aly comes from a world much like our own, she's pretty up on the times, yo! That means she might reasonably recognize a character. However, if she doesn't, it's the Dreaming's fault! Love that Dreaming. So just let me know if you're okay with that! (The default is not recognizing a character, because nobody likes a surprise fourth-walling, and it's more fun to play with people as Real People and not HEY I KNOW YOU FROM THE FICTIONS)

Also, Aly has some interesting things characters with the ability to sense auras might notice:

Aly's soul is both human and the manifestation of fire. A very small part of it is not attached to her, but is down far away, where the red-and-gold magical line extending from her right wrist goes off to. That piece of her soul is not in Konryu whatsoever.
There is a very small piece of a land spirit's soul inside of her - perfectly matching the piece that she is missing.

Lines: Yes? Umm, idk if he'd really have it with anyone right now because of his memories being shit still. Maybe to Evandau/the palace/the prison, hahaha.
Fourth-Walling: plz no.

Penny:
Lines: Yes. Sherlock/John/Conan (roommates and chums)... idk beyond that.
Fourth-Walling: I'd be okay with her recognizing him in a general/vague sense (like "omg you're Penny!!!") if appropriate, but would prefer she not know details of his life/canon beyond what other kids at his school might know (his name, rumors, that he used to date Cady, etc)

(also plz fill out Penny's permissions for me)

o7 Gotcha no fourh-walling for Costigan, and she doesn't know Penny's canon so no issues there.

Pepper:
Lines: Yes, to Tony and Gene and probably Bakura. Vee also, I would imagine, although I'm not sure what that would look like (we should do something about that, it could be cool and a way for Aly to learn about Shadow magic).
Fourth-Walling: Mmmm. Maaaaaybe, although I'm not sure how well that'll go over.

Devin:
Lines: Yes, and weirdly it might bend back to himself (hi Abaddon).
Fourth-Walling: His canon doesn't exist yet so, no :P

Re: Pepper: She probably wouldn't recognize her because she definitely wouldn't know about IMAA. They reference the Avengers in her canon, but they're thinking more of MCU. If she introduces herself with her full name, Aly will go "whaaaat" and be confused. She also wouldn't recognize the Rescue armor, and probably wouldn't recognize Pepper introducing her superhero name as "Rescue". She will recognize Tony's armor, but not him unless he introduces himself by his full name. VERY interested to see how that might work with Vee. (Vee could also notice the part of the land spirit inside Aly, too...which I should mention in this post and not just Valdis' permissions.)

Oooh, yes, something with Vee and Aly would be super cool. We should definitely do a thread around that. The full name thing will be interesting; Pepper obviously knows there are other version of her out there, so there is that. Finding out she's fictional to some people might be less pleasant.

I am very much looking forward to her meeting Devin in person because he will be cagey about the whole Abaddon thing but she's just going to keep pressing him, isn't she?

She is totally gonna keep pressing him. And yesssss. She's not gonna do the fictional thing, since Cinna wants to keep that from happening for Tony at least, and that'd lead to existential criseseses, so.

Vee. Yes. YEEESSSSSS.

Lines: Yes! Lines to Kratos, Zelos, and Sheena, of flexible strength depending how determined Raine is to drag Kratos to socialize on any particular day. Bakura also gets a line, owing to all the soul shiz they've been involved in. Most of the other people who would have lines are gone.

Possibly a line to Pepper also. Not sure about Gene and Tony.
Fourth-Walling: Prefer not, pls.

Do you reason Raine and her mana sense can probably pick up that Aly feels like fire? I doubt she'd be able to see Aly's lines, tho.

No fourth walling, gotcha! And yeah, let's say Raine's mana sense can. I want as many people as possible to feel like there'd be something off about her. >:3

Lines: Sure! Nothing in Khu Ioduan yet, and anything else is obviously not present, aside from Yokuhi (I suppose that line would most often appear to disappear into his own shadow). But there'll be at least two more lines, one to his ruler... and, another probably to the country he's the kirin of.
Fourth-Walling: Rather not! At least not externally. (Though I doubt she's seen the anime or read the books...)
